French Patio Doors
Two doors with glass panels that swing open from the center. Classic look that fits naturally in older California homes. Works best for smaller openings where the swing clearance is not an issue. A good choice if aesthetics and character matter more than maximum opening width
Bifold and Folding Doors
Multiple panels that fold back accordion-style until the entire wall is open. The most dramatic option available. If you have seen those open-wall restaurant patios in California, this is what they use. Requires a properly framed opening and a larger investment, but nothing else comes close for indoor-outdoor flow.
Sliding Patio Doors
Two panels on a track, one fixed and one that slides. Simple, reliable, and the most affordable option. Works in almost any opening and is the right call for most standard patio or backyard access points. If you are replacing an existing slider, this is likely what you need.
Multi-Panel Sliding Doors
Three or more panels that stack to one side. Gives you a much wider opening than a standard two-panel slider without requiring swing clearance. The right choice when you want a larger indoor-outdoor connection but do not have room for outward-swinging doors.

A standard slider replacement is almost always straightforward. Widening an opening for a multi-panel system or adding a bifold where there was previously a wall requires structural work that needs to be assessed in person. We do not charge for estimates, and we will give you a clear picture of what is and is not feasible during our visit.
